KYVL for Kids

All websites added to the database need to have an annotation. Below are some guidelines for writing annotations.

All annotations will be written in full sentences and ideally should cover such information as:

What does this site cover? / Why would a student visit this site?
The ideal annotation is not more than 20-25 words long.
The annotations should be written for the K-5 student.

Examples of an annotation:

GigglePoetry.Com
Giggle Poetry is a premier web site for humerous children's poetry on the internet.
E-Conflict World Encyclopedia
A wonderful, easy-to-use resource with lots of facts about the countries, including pictures of their flags, maps, etc.
Biographical Dictionary
This is an easy-to-use dictionary about famous people. Just type in the name you are looking for and a paragraph of information will be available.
