Minutes, June 1, 2000

Present: Jackie Kinder, Carolyn Tassie, Barb Hale, Nancy Mollette, Linda Sherrow

We looked at the Ground Courier Service Statistics Form created by Carolyn Tassie and suggested ways to revise it. We also discussed the need for an Ariel Statistics form. Totals from the Ground Courier Service Statistics Form and the Ariel Statistics Form will be used to create a statistics report that each library can submit monthly online at the KCVL website. (By the 15^th of the month for statistics from the preceding month)

There was discussion about whether Ariel statistics should include only instate sent and received statistics or both instate and out of state. The committee felt that it would be important to collect both instate and out of state. We will check with Miko to see what is needed by KCVL and then Carolyn will design an Ariel Statistics Form and revise the Ground Courier Services Form and email them to Jackie to be used to create the web Statistics Report Form.

We revised the minutes from last week's meeting and made some changes to the Profile form so that it can be submitted online.

We looked at the Mobius Delivery Procedures and began adapting it to KCVL needs. Linda Sherrow will continue the revision and email it to us for changes,etc.

We will try to get most of our work completed by email to cut down on face to face meetings. Jackie will be in contact by email or phone throughout the month of June to let contact people (Barb, Linda, Carolyn, and Nancy) know how the response on the request for profiles is going.

2400 bags have been ordered. We decided on the distribution of bags among the 171 sites. Division was based on the ILL Traffic Survey that was done for KCVL. Extra bags will be kept at KCVL office.

If needed, we will meet again at KCVL on Tuesday, June 20 at 10 a.m. to wrap up any loose ends and prepare for the dry run that is projected to be July 3.
