Authorities

An authority is a person who knows a lot about their field, or subject, or job that they do. Authorities can be experts in several areas, depending on their jobs or hobbies. Look at the list below for authorities.

Pharmacist How to measure medicine, how to read a prescription, what drugs go together and which ones do not, how to talk to the public, how to teach the public about their drugs, how to organize and manage a drug store
Florist What colors of flowers look good together, how to design the shape of an arrangement, how to price and sell flowers, and how to decide what people will want to buy, how to grow and care for living plants
Basketball player What plays work in a game depending on the situation, the rules of the sport, how to promote teamwork, how to take care of the human body for excellent health, nutrition and fitness information, quality of equipment and clothing needed to play, how to teach or coach others
