  • to know when you need information

  • to find and use information.

Information literacy gets you ready for:

  • class reports and research assignments

  • your future job

  • learning for the rest of your life.

This tutorial helps you to:

  • figure out your questions

  • learn ways to research

  • find information sources

  • search for computer information

  • decide how valuable your information is

  • use information in the best and safest way.

Each part of this tutorial is based on the Big6.  You may do them in any order, but it is VERY important to start with Task Definition!
