Interviews

Interviews are another way of gathering information.  They are good to use when you know an authority (person) on a subject.  To have a good interview, you must ask good questions.

First of all, you should know the reason for your interview.   You need to know what kind of information you want to get.

Good questions cause people to give good answers.  You need words in your questions such as why, what, when, where, how, and if, that will lead people to keep talking, and not just answer yes or no.

Be prepared.  Have your questions ready before you begin an interview.  It's good not to have to look at your paper very much.  Be specific, brief, and clear about what you are asking.
