- KyGenWeb serves as an entry point for all counties in Kentucky, where collected data could be stored. This site contains information on the History of Kentucky, Kentucky counties and other vital records. KyGenWeb is a great place to start genealogical research.

- This site "indexes hundreds of World Wide Web databases containing genealogical data for over twelve million individuals, and gives you the ability to locate and view data of interest to you on any of these databases, without having to go and visit each of the databases separately.
- Genforum
- This site provides access to hundreds of genealogical surname and regional bulletin boards.
